Amy is proud to be an investor in the Broadway production and National Tour of The Band’s Visit, winner of an extraordinary ten 2018 Tony Awards, including Best Musical and the 2019 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album. Currently, Amy is an investor in the Come From Away, Australian/Asia company, and a co-producer of the Broadway-bound musical Little Dancer, written and composed by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty and directed/choreographed by Susan Stroman. Previously, Amy invested in Deaf West Theatre’s Broadway production of Spring Awakening and the Wallis Annenberg production of Merrily We Roll Along, both directed by Michael Arden. Amy is a member of the Board of the Abingdon Theatre Company and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Angels Circle. She is a graduate of the Commercial Theater Institute 14-week Advanced Producing program and participated in a year-long Mastermind Group through Davenport Theatrical Enterprises. Amy was a producer of an original musical version of Richard Brinsley Sheridan's The Rivals, starring Harriet Harris, which ran at the Bristol Riverside Theatre in Bucks County, PA in 2018. Off-Broadway, Amy was a producer/investor in Money Talks and an investor in Endangered. She was honored to have participated in the Rosie’s Theater Kids mentor program, an organization which she continues to support. Amy's love of theatre, particularly musicals, began in her early childhood as she attended many Gilbert and Sullivan operettas at the Light Opera of Manhattan, where she later worked as an usher and property mistress while still in high school. In college, she served as President of the Barnard Gilbert and Sullivan Society and later was Theater Manager of Barnard’s Minor Latham Playhouse. In a previous life, Amy was an entertainment attorney working in theatre and film, and a law school career and admissions office professional for many years. She was the proud creator and Director of New Directions for Attorneys, a unique and innovative program at Pace Law School that assisted over 270 attorneys with their return to the legal profession.
